Beyond the Attractions: A Guide to Walt Disney World with Preschoolers (2012) Giveaway!
Lisa is a parent just like me, but she has a wealth of experience that I don’t have. When I began taking my family to Walt Disney World my youngest was already 6. As you know, there is a big difference between traveling with kids 6+ and traveling with toddlers and preschoolers. That is why I am so thankful to have her book now that I am ready to begin traveling with a 4th generation of Disney lover, my granddaughter. Lisa has done all the research and now I can benefit from her knowledge when planning our upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. Lisa, if you need any advice on traveling with teenagers and young adults, I am your girl.
Many people think that taking toddlers and preschoolers to Walt Disney World is a waste of money and that they will not remember the trip. I thought along those same lines until my sweet granddaughter was born. What do we Disney fans want to share with those we love? DISNEY! So, we will be taking our first trip with her when she is only 13 months. She will have a whole photo album to look back on and mementos from the trip that, in the years to come, will remind her that her family loved her so much they couldn’t wait to share the most magical place on earth with her.
Beyond the Attractions has a bunch of information on several different, and important, topics: tips on traveling with preschoolers, advice on planning your trip, information on lodging options, transportation facts, touring ideas and advice, a plethora of information on the rides and attractions for your family, the run down on dining, recreation, parades, character greetings, child care and safety and so much more.
Thank you for reading and good luck everyone!
